Howdyversary w/ Andrew Cashen, Magic Rockers of Texas, Barb, Almost Heaven
Gritty Southern garage rock, indie-sleaze-infused hyperpop, cosmically soothing experimental songwriting, and a little sapphic pop-rock: Howdyversary has a little bit of Austin flair for every palate. Think you know the Austin scene as well as a Howdy Gal? Match those descriptions to the eccentric lineup of their annual celebration: Almost Heaven, Magic Rockers of Texas, Barb, Andrew Cashen & the Disciples of Creation. This women- and nonbinary-led booking collective has been shaping the Live Music Capital of the World for eight years now by pairing emerging acts with eager audiences and embracing an inclusive culture. – Caroline Drew
