Homeschool Fridays: Spring into Art With the Elisabet Ney Museum

When: Fri., Feb. 6, 10 a.m., Fri., March 6, 10 a.m. and Fri., April 3, 10 a.m. 2026

Learn about the connection between art and nature in an activity inspired by local artist Virginia L. Montgomery. During this session, we will experiment with creating scientific illustrations using samples of colorful specimens. Participants will receive all of the necessary supplies along with guided instructions. There is no fee and attendance is open to youth ages 8 through 12 years old. This activity is part of the Elisabet Ney Museum's brand new program, Breaking the Mold: Mobile Art Crates.
