Holiday Hootenanny w/ Shannon & the Clams, tUnE-yarDs, Rubblebucket, J'cuuzi, more

A whole 12 hours of boundary-pushing musical acts from Austin and beyond, lovingly sprinkled with holiday flair? It must be time to have a hoot at the second annual Holiday Hootenanny, presented by local scene power trio Resound, KUTX, and Pooneh Ghana and featuring performances by indie punk quartet Shannon & the Clams, experimental duo tUnE-yArDs, art-pop performers Rubblebucket, Atlanta songsmiths Improvement Movement, and the official cello goblin, Rushadicus. High-energy local acts J’cuuzi and Almost Heaven bring the holiday heat earlier in the night alongside Variety, Club Coma, and festive activities like ornament decorating, mechanical reindeer riding, and vendor shopping. – Caroline Drew
