Hoedown Throwdown w/ Whisper, Bs, Knocked Up, Port of Monks

If you haven’t yet been able to catch one of Howdy Gals’ outrageously fun Hoedown Throwdowns, this is your lucky week. It’s a riff on a time-tested formula: rock bands and wrestling make for a brash, bombastic pairing, topped off by co-hosts Uncanny Attractions’ drag-inspired flair. The locally sourced musical lineup is a blend between the surfy vibes of whisper and bs, the nü metal growl of Port of Monks, and the razor-sharp punk energy of Knocked Up. Hole in the Wall is the perfect setting for this rowdy Howdy gathering – and, as with all of Howdy Gals’ events, it’s specifically queer- and women-friendly. – Katie Hayes
