Dine in and give back at Canje on Friday, June 19, for a Juneteenth fundraiser benefiting Heavenly Beings, a Multidisciplinary Black Artist Showcase presented at the African American Cultural and Heritage Facility. A portion of the proceeds from the evening go directly toward the showcase and its celebration of Black artistic excellence.
Heavenly Beings highlights primarily Texas-based Black artists working across visual art, film, music, performance, and spoken word. The showcase's opening ceremony takes place Saturday, June 20 and runs through mid-August. Guests can RSVP to the showcase via Eventbrite, and reservations for Canje are available on OpenTable.
