Writer, poet, and actor Alok Vaid-Menon’s new comedy tour set picks at a similar itch as their first Christopher Guest-directed special, Biology, which is, to quote Vaid-Menon, “Trans people are human, by which I mean insufferable.” Playing more on the comedic absurdity that is queer life than its particular tragedies, Vaid-Menon keeps the tone silly while still aiming to hammer home that we’re all more alike than different.
