Jake Mumps stands on the cover of Guzzlr’s – they’re guzzling exactly what you think – Live in Austin 2025 LP in a leather vest and Speedo. He vociferates his way through hardcore originals (“Gloryhole,” “Sit on My Face”) and transforms modern pop classics (a raucous rendition of Charli xcx’s “Guess” and a sludgy cover of Peaches’ “Fuck the Pain Away,” completely stripped of synths in favor of two booming guitar notes). Queer punk stands strong. The cumcore quartet rocks the 13th Floor Thursday with the sandpaper-throated Drip-Fed, metal font-proliferating Waterworld, and comparatively melodic Tied Up. – Carys Anderson
