It’s a conference for the irreverent rockers of Austin, Texas, at Chess Club this Saturday – plus a special appearance by New Orleans power-pop quartet Badzy. We’re talking raunchy guitar solos, headbanging drum fills, catchy choruses delivered in half-yelled crowd vocals, and heckling on and off the stage all night thanks to toxic twin flames Bubba Lucky and Gus Baldwin & the Sketch, as well as Nineties-inspired harmonizers Cast of Thousands. Pack your most cheerful angst and your most raucous attitude for an evening of friendly fire. – Caroline Drew
