Travel from Texas and into Argentina alongside author Gisela Heffes in her new novel, which follows a woman attending to her ailing father in a place that was once home and is now an unfamiliar landscape. Alongside the Johns Hopkins University Latin American literature & culture professor at this reading will be translator Grady C. Wray, who’s worked on previous Heffes pieces Ischia and The Mobile Zero of Its Mouth.
