Gillian Welch and David Rawlings have been close collaborators on Welch’s stilling finger-picked bluegrass for three decades, but it’s only recently that they’ve begun officially recording as a duo. In past tours together, they have traded songs from their catalogs. Now, with two albums under their belts – released in 2020 and 2024, both netting the Grammy for Best Folk Album – they can showcase their collective genius.
