Superlative stars of this semester, Geese, are flying high in the headlines after the release of their third studio album, Getting Killed. The New York-based cult indie heroes’ clamorous sound holds the convictions of classic rock to the contemporary stakes of the genre-agnostic, joke-cracking indie scene. Led by vocalist Cameron Winter’s sincerely surreal songwriting, the quartet’s frenetic energy dramatises his rock revivalist fervor. Are they the most thrilling young rock band?
