Between the Paramount and State theatres’ planned renovations, the Convention Center being a big hole in the ground, and multiple beloved businesses’ venues closing permanently (RIP the Hideout’s Congress location), Downtown Austin is changing fast, and so the Downtown Austin Alliance is hosting this event that’s a lot more than a boring information session. After a networking reception at 800 Congress, head to the Grande Dame of Congress Avenue for an evening of presentations about how the heart of the city is shifting.
