ATX Chamber Music and Jazz presents the Fred Hersch Trio at Assembly Hall for two performances. Named the #1 Jazz Group in the 2019 DownBeat Critics Poll, the trio has maintained a celebrated presence at the Village Vanguard since 1997. Pianist Fred Hersch, a sixteen-time Grammy nominee with more than sixty recordings, is one of the most influential jazz musicians of his generation. Shows begin at 6 and 9 p.m.; each runs approximately 75 minutes without intermission. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the first show and 7:30 p.m. for the second.
