Fourth anniversary w/ Evil Island, Funhouse (Iggy & the Stooges tribute), Outta Grace
The biggest item in the proverbial post-hardcore gossip columns a few weeks ago was the appearance of Fugazi legend/Blood Brothers album producer Guy Picciotto doing his patented wailing for guest backing vocals on “T-Hexx,” a tune from Evil Island (which was produced by nü metal godfather Ross Robinson). E.I. features three members of Blood Brothers (vocalist Johnny Whitney, guitarist Cody Votolato, and drummer Mark Gajadhar), Glassjaw’s Todd Weinstock on second guitar, and Austin-based bassist Autry Fulbright II. Expect screams and roars both familiar and thrilling. – Joe Gross
