Flower Shop

From contemporary dance company Ventana Ballet in collaboration with classical ensemble Austin Camerata comes the world premiere of an intimate and compelling show that puts the audience right up against the action. With a stirring original piano quartet by the aptly named Michael Alec Rose, Ventana dancers tell a story that starts in a flower shop with a secret red door, “where the flowers aren’t quite what they seem,” and goes to an unexpected place. At this immersive show, they say you’ll be able to hear the breath and feel the movement of the dancers – may as well wear something bright and floral to blend with the scenery! – Kat McNevins
