It’s Halloween, and the dead will rise! For one horror fan, that encroaching zombie is a deliciously schlocky slasher script from his teenage self, now read by some of Austin’s best and brightest acting talent. It may have been written in just four weeks, but Final Decapitation’s legacy stretches out over two decades later. Expect homages/utter rip-offs of the finest early Aughts screaming teen flicks; expect over-the-top occurrences of graphic violence; expect laughing until your gut explodes; but trust, it’s worth it. – Cat McCarrey
