If you haven’t entered the Hole in the Wall doors recently, this dirtbag rock & roll set is a great reason for doing so. San Antonio will lend one of its finest musical exports, Garrett T. Capps, to headline the evening with his cosmic country songs. Among a flurry of alt-country releases throughout 2025, Capps’ album Life Is Strange distinguished itself with its homegrown Hill Country psychedelic overtones. Onstage, he commands attention in his giant round sunglasses, drawling crazy lyrics like “Happy birthday, we’re all gonna die.” Regardless of implied bad trips in Capps’ past, his show is sure to take you on a good one. – Katie Hayes
