Family History Workshop with Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR)
Join us at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission in Austin on Saturday, February 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a free workshop on tracing your family lineage to the American Revolution. Guest speakers from the Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution will discuss DAR resources, overlooked patriots, and specialized research groups. TSLAC reference staff will highlight genealogy tools available through the library. Presentations run from 10–11:45 a.m., followed by hands-on research assistance from noon–2 p.m. Registration is requested but not required.
