What does hope look like when everything you know is left behind? Written and directed by Rupert Reyes, Esperanza explores the experiences of immigrant families navigating separation, sacrifice, and the search for a better future. The play, inspired by the impact of U.S. immigration enforcement policies, brings deeply personal stories to the stage. Nonprofit theatre company Trinity Street Players presents the production, which invites audiences to look beyond headlines and consider the human experiences behind immigration. – Erika Gonzalez
