Eric Mingus at Uncommon Objects with Uncommon Art

Eric Mingus brings his uncommon art to Uncommon Objects in his TX Debut Denouement. Son of legend Charles Mingus, Eric is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and poet; he's toured with Bobby McFerrin, Yo Yo Ma, Carla Bley, and others. Unveiling a sculpture inspired by Mingus' "Lion-Head" bass. Eric will perform sets of his original music, as well as present some of his father’s compositions in an intimate way, including “a very Mingus-spirited, poetry-and-voice setting – something I do very rarely – so this feels especially personal.” Join us for a special moment, BYOB.
