Celebration’s in order for the spicy shard specialists at Ghost Pepper. They’ll ring in eight years of business at their new North Austin location on Metric Boulevard with a weekendlong block party featuring live glassblowing demos, food & bevs, an art market, crafts, and talks & live painting from artists featured in their gallery’s “Surreal Times” exhibition. There’ll also be another season of Ghost Pepper’s annual pumpkin patch sale, which offers glass gourds as well as real-deal orange boys. Come in costume, and you may just win a one-of-a-kind pumpkin glass piece. – James Scott
