It’s no secret that teachers often have to buy their own supplies for the classroom – according to the National Education Association, the average teacher was shucking out over $500 on supplies in the 2022-23 school year – but we’re lucky to have Austin Creative Reuse giving teachers a little more bang for their buck. At this fourth annual fair in partnership with Austin ISD Sustainability, educators can find tons of useful supplies like writing utensils, paper, art supplies, science tools, books, posters, and more that will benefit their students and divert these items from the landfill.
