Earth Fest 2026

You can already support Habitat for Humanity’s work by shopping at their ReStore, which contains a bevy of gently used appliances and home decor, but at the grand opening of their new Outdoor Center focused on gardening and landscaping, you can take the deals outside for spring planting season. ReStores have diverted over 40 million pounds of debris from landfills with this effort, and at this family-friendly celebration, community partners and exhibitors will be offering hands-on education and resources to learn more along with food and drink. The tools, planters, furniture, and other garden accoutrements they have on offer are created through ReCreateIt Gigalab, an initiative that turns plastic waste into new everyday products through 3D printing and recycling. They’re still looking for community partners and sponsors, so sign up online if you’re interested in participating! – Lina Fisher
