Earth Day ATX [Postponed]

While the urgency of the Earth’s problems have made most folks consider our oblate spheroid home more than just once a year, it’s still nice to party for the planet on occasion. Head to the Eastside campus for an afternoon of family-friendly activities, nature games, food, exhibits, storytelling, and more – like a presentation by Dr. Melvin Tuttle, the famous bat conservationalist who secured protections for the Congress bridge Chiroptera colony. Hopefully the kids will be inspired enough to embrace green policies as they grow up. Then again, the survival of future generations might also be influencing their decisions. – James Renovitch
