Produced by ATX TV Festival creators Emily Gipson & Caitlin McFarland and edited by longtime Richard Linklater collaborator Sandra Adair, it’s also the debut feature from Pampa native and Austin transplant Evan Miller. Front and center is Austin’s own Adrianne Palicki as a woman making tough decisions and heading to the wrong side of the law. But this isn’t about showdowns and shootouts: Instead, Miller and co-writer Hardy Janson bring a contemporary twist to their classic West Texas imagery.
