As part of a special SXSW performance with single tickets available, digital comedy platform Dropout is trading screens for live audiences as it takes to the stage. The streaming service has offered recorded stand-up, improv, and solo specials for its subscribers since 2018. Its online collection has since grown to host nearly 100 shows including series like Dimension 20; Game Changers; Um, Actually; and Very Important People. Hosted by director Kurt Maloney, the live show unites all manner of entertainers including Jacob Wysocki, Jeremy Culhane, Oscar Montoya, Scott Passarella, and Vic Michaelis for an experience fit for dropouts and overachievers alike. – Rachel N.
