About a year and a half after their rowdy 2023 EP Teeth turned homegrown alt rockers Die Spitz into certified road dogs, the chaos-loving twentysomethings return from tour with their debut full-length in tow. With renowned pop-punk producer Will Yip behind the boards, September’s Something to Consume – released on Jack White’s Third Man Records – maintains the quartet’s boisterous braggadocio, but also expands the instrument-hoppers’ sonic and lyrical terrain with newfound maturity. Hardcore killers Fuck Money and apocalyptic post-punk collective the Opera open this homecoming at one of Austin’s most iconic venues. – Carys Anderson
