The second part of his Mexico Trilogy, and the first time the Austin moviemaking icon had a real budget, this sequel of sorts to his first film features Antonio Banderas as the real El Mariachi, a cold-blooded killer with a guitar case full of guns and the hots for bookstore owner Carolina (Salma Hayek).
