Day of Dance is a free, all-ages, all-abilities community festival celebrating the joy of dance in Austin. Hosted by MINDPOP and Austin ISD Fine Arts, Day of Dance brings together professional dance companies, youth performers, teaching artists, educators, and families for a full day of free performances, dance classes, live music, and activities. The festival celebrates Austin’s vibrant dance community–across generations, cultures, and dance traditions–creating welcoming pathways for people of all backgrounds to experience the power and joy of movement.
