Pixar has spent decades emotionally ambushing audiences, and Coco is no exception. If you’ve made it through the final rendition of “Recuérdame” without crying, then I applaud you. Beyond its stunning animation and vibrant celebration of Día de los Muertos, Coco is a heartfelt reminder to call your family, cherish the stories they pass down, and never underestimate a movie capable of making an entire theatre sniffle in unison.
