I admit that one of the cuisines I see least in Austin’s incredible culinary landscape are the delicious dishes of Hawaii. A visit from Lineage’s chef Sheldon Simeon (Top Chef ) shakes that oversight up with a Loro collab laying out platters inspired by Simeon’s new cookbook Ohana Style: chicken adobo fried rice and longganisa sliders. In addition to these bites, there’ll be live-fire cooking, demos, and a booksigning – all celebrating Simeon’s cultural influences ranging from Hawaii to the Philippines to Japan and beyond. – James Scott
