Champagne Supernova: Oasis tribute w/ Shakermakers, DJ Morbid Angel [outside]

Liam and Noel aren’t coming to Texas on this year’s miraculously unexpected reunion tour, but fear not: We have Oasis at home. This free daytime event honors the funniest frenemies of all time with a Gallagher look-alike competition, Nineties-inspired vendors, Champagne drink specials, and, of course, the main event: music by DJ Morbid Angel and a performance by Shakermakers, a tribute act composed of members of hardcore quintet Drip-Fed and alt-rock quartet Tied Up. “You need to be yourself,” goes “Supersonic”; sometimes, however, you just need to be a rock & roll star. – Carys Anderson
