While AANHPI Heritage Month officially stretches out until midnight rings on May 31, the Asian American Resource Center’s done a pretty good job of cramming everything that makes this cultural moment so dang special into one afternoon. Over 40 participants pack in for this family-friendly fest emceed by AARC’s Jenn Xia and artist JJ Mayang, with dance performances, storytelling, food vendors, and community tabling all on offer. There’ll also be “Cultural Experience Rooms” led by Indonesian Diaspora Network, India Culture Group, Cultural Healing Team, Filipino Young Professionals of Austin, and Austin Japanese Minyo. – James Scott
