Vibraphonist, marimba player, and percussionist Carolyn Trowbridge has held down the mallets for a staggering variety of musicians in and out of Austin. Outside of her membership in the Alex Coke/Carl Michel Sextet and Hard Proof, she’s clacked, bonged, and banged for Adrian Quesada, Black Pumas, Jaime Wyatt, and more. Here she’s celebrating the release of her solo debut, Found Memories. Inspired by her own experiences, the record swirls and roars with all the joy, melancholy, surprise, and heart any life brings.
