Carl Perkins tribute w/ Theo Lawrence, Tomar Williams, Steve Doerr, Bill Kirchen, & more

Leave it to Jeremy Slemenda to ring in Carl Perkins’ birthday in style. For the third year running, the Jerrells guitarist taps a slew of roots rockers to interpret the king of rockabilly’s indelible grooves, all with an Austin flair. The Continental hosts French Ameripolitan honky-tonker Theo Lawrence, show-stopping soul man Tomar Williams, Telecaster-slinging singer Mandy Marie Luke, and seven other artists at this all-star show, which doubles as a fundraiser for HAAM. Stay late for an afterparty soundtracked by country quintet the Saddle Sores and blues rocker Paul Val. – Carys Anderson
