Brannen Temple, Michael Malone, & Red Young Organ Trio

The sheer amount of experience onstage for this show is staggering. Drummer Brannen Temple has played with everyone from Eric Johnson and Chris Duarte to Jody Watley and Eric Burdon, alongside leading bands like Hot Buttered Rhythm. A veteran of bands led by Cindy Blackmon, Mark Whitfield, and legendary organist Jimmy Smith, saxophonist Michael Malone has been tearing up local jazz clubs with NuJazzSwing and others for several years. Both musicians have close ties with venerable keyboardist Red Young, whose 50 years of history simply won’t fit into this word count. Old friends who love playing music together?
