Bottle Alley’s The Last Seance of Harry Houdini

First off, in this immersive seance-based play, Harry Houdini is the spirit being summoned, not the summoner. So know that Houdini will not be operating a ouija planchette while dangling from chains. Instead, it’s based on the 10th, and final, very real seance held by his wife Bess on the anniversary of the magician’s untimely death. Despite being unbelievers, the two lovers had a sacred pact that they’d try to reach each other beyond the veil of death. Seriously: They had code words and everything. Join Bess Houdini’s final attempt with Bottle Alley’s supernatural soiree at Flower Hill Center, experiencing the thrill of 1930s spookiness in an era-appropriate space. – Cat McCarrey
