Bravo, Austinite. A film or three at SXSW, a lick or two at Austin Blues Festival, and a tab at Austin Psych Fest – dunzo. Time for what we do best: long summer nights in the Live Music Capital. Unlike Zilker’s fall music classic, the city’s longest-running concert series is free and totally stacked this year. Three acts each night, with music beginning at 7pm. Texas ex Kylie Hernandez sings first, followed by Ghostland Observatory frontman Aaron Behrens, and the godfather of ATX Latin rock Alejandro Escovedo. Wednesday, Nik Parr & the Selfless Lovers open, then America’s Got Talent rapper Mama Duke and powerhouse Grupo Fantasma guitar offshoot Brownout throw down. – Raoul Hernandez
