Want great food and “big dumb riffs”? (Their words, not ours.) Local doom-wop group Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol convenes some of their noisiest colleagues for Big Dumb Fest IV. There’s punk (Die Mart, Sodomy Cop), metal (Waterworld), weighty rock (Transit Method, Buzz Electro), and the intersection of all of it (American Sharks) represented on the completely homegrown bill, united by each band’s imminently danceable takes on their genres. Bad Larry Burger Club, Busty’s, and Jamaican food truck Epic Jerk will be slinging food when you need a recharge from the pit. – Abby Johnston
