Southwest Asia and North Africa-centering creative collective Beitna – named after the Arabic word for “our house” – has been welcoming Austinites into the local SWANA arts scene for a year now, and these savvy event producers are celebrating the only way they know how: with a stacked showcase of performers and vendors, hosted at picturesque late-night brasserie Justine’s. Arabic psych-funk outfit CaravanStrange, multilingual jazz vocalist of Julie Slim, and Austin Music Award-winning world band Atash collide with burlesque enchantress Zina, Turkish imports vendor Magic Caravan, and Palestinian dessert purveyors Knafé ATX at this multicultural, community-building affair. – Carys Anderson
