Beginner Birding Walk & Talk

Who said bird watching is only for the geriatric? You’re never too old (or young) to pick up a new hobby. Meet outside the Twin Oaks Branch Library Saturday morning to learn about local birds and how to identify them on a leisurely walk led by Joyce Bertolacini from Austin’s oldest conservation organization, Travis Audubon. The event provides bird field guides and binoculars, and Austin’s picturesque forested parks will provide the birds.  – Emily DeMotte
