What could bring Beastie Boys’ DJ Mix Master Mike and singer-songwriter Ben Kweller to the same stage? Only Been There’s fourth annual one-day music festival benefiting local homelessness organizations. Austin acts like classic country crier Lucas Hudgins, performance art collective TC Superstar, funky cult rock group Grandmaster, and Grateful Dead tribute band DeadEye join in on the nonprofit’s mission of “having fun doing good.” All festival proceeds will be split between Been There, the creative-centered social impact organization that puts on the festival each year, plus the Other Ones Foundation, Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center, and Caritas of Austin. – Caroline Drew
