Frank Henenlotter’s early Eighties body-horror classic heralds our local video rental store’s new window display – just in time for Summerween. Whether you’re interested due to this fairly new seasonal celebration for folks who want more use out of their skeleton lawn ornaments or because you love a family drama where separated conjoined twins terrorize NYC, We Luv Video offers a horrifically fun party to please even the notoriously cranky Belial. Come in costume to meet with the current display’s artists: German-born and Austin-based multimedia artist Gabrielle Clemente, filmmaker and transmedia maker Esha Nigudkar, and illustrator/printmaker/performer Zach Larkin. Please refrain from poking around in anyone’s mysteriously large baskets, though; you never know who’s hanging out within the wicker. – James Scott
