Taking an icy plunge into Barton Springs on New Year's Day is a holiday tradition. The pool will be open all day, and Save Our Springs Alliance will be near the front gate from 8:30am to 3pm with hot coffee, donuts, and Polar Bear Plunge T-shirts designed by local cartoonist Sam Hurt.
