Noël Coward’s comedy of manners was first performed in 1930; nearly a century later, it’s still a forever-favorite for its sharp wit and pliability to match whatever era it’s being performed in. Judging by press images, Bandwagon Arts, a recent comer in Austin’s theatre company community, is going modern – a good match for a script that was rather scandalously modern in Edwardian England. It revolves around a divorced couple, Elyot and Amanda, who bump into each other while on honeymoon with their new mates and discover they still make each other crazy. Staged by Benajah T. Baskin, the trim cast features Baron Ryan, Vivian Noble, Tony Nielson, and Bella Monette. – Kimberley Jones
