Enjoy the relatively mild transition from spring into summer this year (while it lasts) by experiencing dance outside at Zilker’s Hillside Theater. Metamorphosis Dance’s resident artists have crafted original works along with guest choreographers Alyssa Gonzales and Brenda Tally. This year, the program features Act III of The Sleeping Beauty: Aurora’s Wedding by Tchaikovsky, and offers both a classical interpretation of the original 19th-century choreography of Marius Petipa as well as more contemporary styles to entertain seasoned ballet fans and newbies alike. The best part is that it’s free and open to the public, spanning two nights. – Lina Fisher
