Since the 1950s, Amalia Hernandez and Ballet Folklórico de México have created more than 40 ballets – the music, technical rigor, elaborate costuming, and Hernandez’s choreography helping the troupe and its followers disseminate vibrant Mexican tradition and folklore throughout the world.
