Started by Jen Kentrup and friends following a helpless feeling while overseas during that one guy’s first term in 2016, this is the event’s inaugural Austin edition. But this ain’t just brownies and baklava – although I really hope there’s a little baklava. There’ll be burlesque, carnival games, a kissing booth, and prizes you’ll deffo want to win. Funds raised will go to our progressive champs James Talarico and Gina Hinojosa as they take on the current conservative ghouls haunting Texas. – James Scott
