Eight years after their last record, Austin/Denton garage-punk lifers Bad Sports are back with Follow Through, a six-song 12-inch arriving September 29 on their own label, BS Holdings Incorporated. Longtime co-composers Orville Neeley (Memo PST, Spiritual Cramp, ex-OBN IIIs) and Daniel Fried (Mugger) return with drummer John Hodge (Initiate, Psychic Pigs), with Bad Sports now splitting time between Austin and Los Angeles. During a break from Neeley’s touring duties with Spiritual Cramp, the trio regrouped in L.A. with producer Mike Kriebel to cut songs written while portraying a fictional punk band on the TV series Countdown.
