Baby’s First Symphony With Highland String Quartet
When: Sat., Aug. 1 2026
If you were around in the mid-Nineties, you may remember when the “Mozart effect” was identified by researchers who found that participants performed better on a task after listening to classical music. Baby Einstein videos exploded and people started playing symphonies to their fetuses, hoping to give their little one the best head start possible. So maybe your baby is already past this milestone, but if not, dress them in their finest tuxedo onesie and come on down for a 30-minute classical performance followed by a half-hour of instrument playtime so Junior can immerse themselves in the music. – Kat McNevins
